Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool collects just six pieces of information: your gender, date of birth, your general health status, whether you use tobacco, the coverage amount you're considering, and the term you want. This is enough for carriers to quote you. Personal details like your name, address, and full health history are only needed if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The rates shown are what each carrier quotes for the health class you selected. Your actual premium depends on the carrier's underwriting review, which may confirm, adjust, or change your health classification. Everything on this site is provided for comparison only and is not an insurance offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name and select the carrier and quote you want. The secure application form then opens on the carriers' platform, already filled in with your earlier answers. You can save and come back to it anytime. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, manages the process, and you sign documents electronically.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, the amount of coverage, and what you share in your application. Many modern carriers can approve qualified applicants immediately without exams. Each quote on this site shows whether the carrier requires an exam, might ask for one, or will approve without one.
Is a longer term better?
A term should span the years when your family would struggle financially if your income disappeared: a mortgage to pay, children at home, business debt. Longer terms cost more monthly but lock your rate longer. This tool lets you compare 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year options to find what fits.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool never asks for contact information, we do not buy or sell personal data, and our measurement avoids cookies and respects privacy settings. See our privacy policy for a complete list of what is and isn't collected.
